Introduction

Successful implementation of the Results Management Guide (RMG) shall entail a comprehensive change in the way development projects are managed in your office. Implementing the RMG is a multi-faceted exercise, with technical, organizational and external aspects to manage.

For each development projects, this change will primarily translate into:

  • The confirmation of a Project Organisation structure with clear roles and responsibilities assigned as defined in the RMG
  • The positioning of Outputs (Project IDs) vis a vis AWPs.
  • The introduction of new project management and monitoring tools at specific stages of the project cycle (see the compliance section).

The purpose of this stage is to concretely apply the changes outlined in the RMG within the project portfolio of your office, prioritize the tasks required, and make decisions about the scope for conversion regarding on-going projects.
